Context:
Write an essay on an area of child protection practice and management that identifies underpinning child protection guidelines and principles of legislation.
Choose an area of practice mentioned above and explore the statutory child protection process (consists of 5 phases. They are: - 1) Intake, 2) Investigation, 3) Protective intervention, 4) Protective order and 5) Closure); for each phase explore the underpinning legislation, principles and practice framework that is the Best interests case practice model that provides the foundation for case practice in child protection. The model includes interconnected stages of professional practice, which is child focussed and family sensitive. The interconnected stages include:
