2a. When the organisation is developing options for the delivery of human resource services, it will calculate the appropriate Return on Investment. Explain the concept of Return on Investment in regard to the provision of human resource services.
2b. Calculate the return on investment for the provision of internal training services for the organisation by comparing the benefits of training against the costs (direct and indirect) of internal training services in descriptive terms.
2c.Choose and explain two mathematical strategies appropriate to calculate and analyse Return on Investment.
Part 2: Human Resource Service Delivery plan
Task 1: Context
This task requires you to research and write a plan suitable to be communicated to senior personnel. The plan manages the delivery of human resource services within legal, organisational and business ethics frameworks for a specific organisation. Use your own workplace, or a workplace you are familiar with for this plan.
Research a specific organisation with which you are familiar. Ensure you use digital technologies and systems safely, legally and ethically when gathering, storing and accessing the research information.

Current human resource service delivery
Q2a. Describe the human resource services currently provided internally and the human resource services that are outsourced.
Review current service/s and assess if they are being delivered by appropriate providers according to service agreements, operational plans and legislative requirements.
Q3. Analyse the organisation’s strategy and operational plans to determine human resource services requirements to implement the business strategy and plans.
Q4. Identify the labour supply and demand factors in the organisation's external environment and explain how they are likely to impact on a specific organisation’s human resource requirements.
Q5. Assess the organisation's requirements for diversity in the workforce.
Task 2: Service Delivery Plan
Research a workplace template to use or create your own.
Your plan must include at least these seven headings:

Give a brief summary of the organisation you have chosen.
- Human resource service delivery objectives
Write an objective for each of three human resource services to be delivered for the organisation. For example, recruitment, training or payroll.
- Human resource service delivery options
For each objective consider and evaluate two alternative ways of delivering the service against legislative, organisational and ethical requirements. For example, by a consultant, outsourced to another organisation or provided internally by a human resources department or line manager. Recommend the service delivery options to be implemented.
- Human resource service delivery actions
For each delivery option chosen, identify:
How the service will be provided in general terms (the specifics are outlined in Part 4).
The responsibilities of the human resources team, line managers and external contractors.
- Training support
To deliver human resource services:
Identify training support required.
Nominate training providers.
Write a process to arrange the training.
- Human resources systems
To deliver the human resource services in this plan develop a system to gather and store the information needed to provide human resources services following relevant ethical and legal requirements. Your system should include:
