Using Project 2019, define the Constructor’s Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) for the project. Start the CWBS since ‘site preparation’. Thus, your scope does not need to make time allocations for obtaining permits and insurance.

Note that: The higher levels of CWBS are ‘deliverables’ whereas work packages (the lowest hierarchical level) are activities/tasks.

To ensure that the entire project scope is included in the CWBS, carefully check this rule: “100% of work at a parent node = sum of work at the childnodes”. Refer to Week 1 lecture/tutorial carefully before you start this assessment task. Use clear names of CWBS elements (typically, deliverables are nouns and task names start with verbs).

Add a short description to adequately and unambiguously describe the CWBS Devise an appropriate calendar for the project overall, as well as calendars for particular tasks if required. Provide a short but clear instructions in the report for the assessor to explain the rationale of your calendars and/or the assumptions made.

Assume project information and populate the parameters appropriately.

Establish the project network diagram using appropriate dependencies. Ensure that every task has at least one predecessor and at least one successor except the first and last task/milestone. Use lag/lead where appropriate: in the report, explain the rationale behind the relationships and lag/lead specified.
