Task Outline: This assessment is about using numeracy data as evidence to assist in making decisions designed to improve your teaching. The numeracy data consists of the results of one NAPLAN Numeracy test for a school cohort. Refer to the Supporting documents on Study Desk. With the provided numeracy data, develop a professional report for a school that will inform decision making and future planning for this cohort of students. The report should contain an introduction, parts A, B and C and conclusion. In part A - Identify the concepts tested Describe what is being tested in relation to the current Australian Curriculum: Mathematics. In part B - Analyse student answers Based on your analysis of the data in the Item Analysis Report, select one question from each class group and two from across the cohort to discuss. For each question, state: why you have chosen this question. Use the data to inform your response. the breakdown of correct and incorrect responses. possible reasons for the incorrect responses.
