Choose your HOME country as a case study (e.g., if you are from Vietnam, the Home country is Vietnam). My Home country is RUSSIA
Analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and trade tensions (such as between the US and China, and between Australia and China) on the Home country’s (RUSSIA) trade balance.
A good analysis should include, and take into account:
- The country’s overall trade picture in the past one or two decades.
- Which trade models can be used to explain for the trade pattern of your country with its top 5 or 10 trade partners (you may want to separate top export destinations and top import destinations)?
- Graphs, charts, or figures (make sure you provide sources).
- Challenges as well as opportunities from the US-China or Australia-China trade tensions.
- The Covid-19 pandemic and the country’s responses, and possible recovery paths. How all of these may improve or worsen the country’s trade position
- And, of course, you may consider any other factors.
