In this assessment task, students are required to choose ONE of the above six projects and answer all the questions stated below. There are three parts of this assessment task:
Part I:
 In this part of the assessment task, students are required to write a report based on the answers of the following questions and submit the report in week 5. Although this part of the assessment task will not provide any grading points, but the lecturer/tutor will provide feedback based on which students are required to write part II and the final part of the assessment task. Students are reminded that this part of the assessment task is must do because the performance of the final part of the assessment task will depend upon the incorporation of the feedback of this part of the assessment task. Answer the following questions in Part I of the assessment report:
1. Briefly describe the background and the objectives of the case project?
2. What is the delivery method of this project? Why this project delivery method is chosen for the case project?
3. Which organisation is the main construction contractor of this project, briefly describe the background of the construction contractor organization?
4. Briefly describe the bidding processes and the selection of the construction contractor.
Part II:
Answer the following questions in Part II of the assessment report:
1. Are there any variations of contract types for different works of this project?
2. Are there any issues associated with the case project?
3. Is there any cost overrun or schedule delays for the case project?
Final part of the Assessment task:
1. What recommendations would you make if the sponsor nominated you as the Project Director/Manager of this project in its earlier stage?
2. Students are also required to verbally present the analysis of the case project in week 12. In this verbal presentation, students are required to answer relevant questions asked by the lecturer/tutor.

2.Identify and analyse project delivery methods, construction contracting, issues related to the case project, variation of contract types, summary of each report and recommend appropriate course of action with emphasis on project delivery methods

3.Application of relevant concepts and principles
The report skilfully applies relevant concepts and principles from the unit to explain the topic.

The case study’s main topic(s), aim/ purpose, key points and conclusions are identified and summarised clearly, accurately and precisely, providing an excellent overview of the original article.
