For this assessment you will need to develop a written plan for integrating culturally diverse practices into an organisation by applying the approaches in the case study.

You should include an explanation of how you would perform each of the following in the workplace environment as sections in your plan:

  1. Provide actions that you would take and responses to the following questions

Manage ideas and information

  1. How would you communicate information to support others to achieve work responsibilities?
  2. How would you facilitate employees' contributions to consultation on work issues?
  3. How would you provide feedback on the outcomes of consultations?
  4. How would you resolve issues raised or refer issues to relevant personnel?
  5. Factors that affect the development of cultural diversity and ethical practice policies.

In development of your policies you should demonstrate a recognition of the need to develop trust and confidence.  Consider and provide responses the following questions that relate to the concepts that should be addressed in these types of policies.

  1. What policies you would establish in relation to cultural diversity and ethical practice?
  2. What professional conduct promotes trust with internal and external contacts?
  3. What adjustments need to be made to your own interpersonal communication style to meet the organisation’s cultural diversity and ethical environment?
  4. Provide responses to the following questions.

Developing and maintaining networks

  1. How would you use networks to build workplace relationships?
  2. Create a one-page plan outlining the use of networks to support identifiable outcomes for the team and the organisation for cultural diversity objectives
  3. Create an action plan to address and resolve issues experienced in the workplace. Include processes and systems to manage difficulties including:
  4. The methods used to identify and resolve issues related to cultural diversity in the workplace
