In this Assessment you identified a business within the Australian Tourism Industry and performed a Situation Analysis for it. In Assessment. you are required to identify any problems of your business. develop potential solutions and conclude by identifying which target market you will approach, utilizing the appropriate media, and the message you want to convey.
You will also have to establish SMART objectives to attain those potential solutions to your business's issues. You will be asked to develop a single marketing mix strategy to achieve those SMART objectives that will significantly increase the profit or turnover of your business, within the period specified.
This assessment focuses on formulating basic marketing objectives and developing and implementing marketing mix strategies to address marketing problems.
You are required to complete a marketing plan in report format for your business from Assessment 2. This Report is to be completed individually. You must focus on the development of a marketing mix or commonly known as the 4 Ps (or in the case of a Service or Retail client the 6Ps) and the tactics (activities) you will use to reach the target market. Your strategy must match your situation analysis, problem-solution, target market. targeting strategy and positioning and marketing objectives. Under each section of the tactics of product, price. promotion and place you must disclose the budget associated with the activity. The Budget needs to be realistic so you will need to investigate how much things cost.
