Background : Tiny Houses are built to last as long as traditional homes, use traditional building techniques and materials, and are aesthetically similar to larger homes. Advantages of Tiny Houses is that a tiny house costs a lot less to build than a full-sized one with this mind. The design is to be appropriate to the environment in which it will be used and should reflect the character of the Tiny House that was selected from the three concept renderings to the section of the market chosen. Including a full- or queen-size mattress, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room , internet, power supply , mains power, solar, wind and what water supply needed, tank or town water and sewage, grey water removal draw the shape of product without doing to much detail . Detail that is not needed is the showing detail of utility lines but show location point. Must include interior design and systems used and the sustainable manufacturing and product life cycle in response to the construction chosen,use the entrepreneurship and product detailing to demonstrate the decisions made in advancements in the construction component design. Emphasis on connectors, construction, panels, walls, windows, timber and sustainable components . Documentation: Produce a full set of engineering drawings according to Australian Standards 1100. The Final documentation must include the following as a minimum, with completed title block on each page 0ne drawing for each part associated with product with all details of that part,section views with correct hatching. Sheet 1 (1) Isometric view only, Sheet 2 (1 ) Exploded drawing , all components, lounge, bed etc and in the Title Block drawings reference numbers must correspond Sheet 3 (1) Sectional assembly drawing, with interior shown Sheet 4: (1) Sub assembly Sheet 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 ,12. and not limited to, can have more if needed to communicate the design features i.e All views on one page then as separate pages Top view , front elevation, back view and side elevation left and side elevation right. Use cutaways as well for detail. Create a design brief using 1500 words for a Tiny House and create 3 concepts renderings ( A2 size) of the intended design. Add – A3 conceptual idea of interior design A3 poster a ’lifestyle’ representational i.e., with furniture and/or landscape situated this is to support your brief . A structure is considered a Tiny House when it is less than 50 square metres is a good rule of thumb to remember that 37 square metres is about the size of a two-car garage and 50 square metre obviously going to be more livable, but keep in mind that anything less than 50 square metres for a single person living situation is considered small. Other design aspects could include lofts or a second storey. Brief also to establish, select a scenario in which the structure will be built, you choose as a human-centred ’habitation or use’ for living or working .
