Non-government organisations such as advocacy groups must have a rational, empirical, essentially scientific, basis for their claims to be considered authoritative. This definition of an authoritative source applies to Assessments 1 and 3. Library databases are the best way to find peer-reviewed journal articles.
You are encouraged to use library databases rather than single-line, internet search utilities. Present the topic, background and rationale for a new, small-scale research project. Your own reading of published research reports and protocols in research reports in reputable journals will show you how research proposals are written, whilst towards the end of this assignment you are proposing an original research project of your own invention.
